Wizkid also emerged Best International Act beating heavyweights like Jay-Z, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, SZA, DJ Khaled etc.

Banky W, has addressed the rivalry between Davido and Wizkid via his IG page.

First celebrating Davido, who emerged the Best African Act at the 2017 Mobo Awards, Banky also used the opportunity to speak about the feud between Davido and Wizkid,advising that they end the war as they are both highly celebrated artistes.

He wrote;

While we are at it, Bigups to another young legend @davidoofficial on his wins.. this talented lad came into the game, never stopped working and never stopped winning. And I’m so proud of him as well.

What’s better than one Superstar? Two.
Wiz and David are both extremely important to the Naija/African music movement and culture, and I personally HATE it when ppl try to make it seem like you have to choose one or the other. There’s enough room in the sky for all of our stars to fly, so instead of us encouraging a childish, petty narrative that never ends well (remember Pac/Biggie?), we shld encourage all of our acts to be all they can be. I don’t wanna choose. Why should I have to? I want Wiz AND David AND Olamide AND Kiss Daniel AND Tiwa AND Yemi and eeeeevery last one of us who have somehow managed to break through, to remain successful and relevant. I pray the same for all our upcoming talents who are about to make it.

Jay Z Admits He Cheated On Beyonce

Hip-hop legend Jay Z, on Wednesday, confirmed that he did cheat on his wife, Beyonce.

The 47-year who sat down for an interview with Dean Baquet from The New York Times, made this confession adding the therapy helped save their marriage.

You have to survive. So you go into survival mode, and when you go into survival mode, what happens? You shut down all emotions. So, even with women, you gonna shut down emotionally, so you can’t connect. … In my case, like, it’s deep. And then all the things happen from there: infidelity.

On how he managed to deal with his scars;

I grew so much from the experience.

So I’ve always been like his big brother. And we’re both entertainers. It’s always been like a little underlying competition with your big brother.
And we both love and respect each other’s art, too. So it’s like, we both – everyone wants to be the greatest in the world. You know what I’m saying? And then there’s like a lot of other factors that play in it. But it’s gonna, we gonna always be good.
Kanye came into this business on my label. So I’ve always been like his big brother. And we’re both entertainers. It’s always been like a little underlying competition with your big brother.
