But wow wow wow… Who is Ashley Young these days? He amazed us. He scored a striker’s goal first, then a beautiful free-kick. Wow… we marveled. When Martial made it 3-nil by first half, we thought the FOURchester jinx will be broken for FIVEchester of more. But no… instead, fans had to be kept at the edge of their seats when Watford made it 3-2. Yeah, Liverpool fans started smiling. But Lingard was in hand to dance his way to goal – FOURchester was fulfilled. Only always FOURchester; the best game of the day all the same.

Yeah, Man United was the bang of the day, Tottenham broke our hearts. We just couldn’t cry because Vardy and Mahrez reminded us of 2 seasons ago. The goals were all wonderful.

Real Madrid disappointed us too. Last season was just their season. The first and second 11 were on point. This time, the young lads couldn’t do it. It took Bale’s introduction before they could equalize and then lead. And maybe fate wanted Fuenlabrada to have something, they got their equalizer in the 89th minute. Well, Real still won the tie with 4-2 aggregate. Maybe they are crawling back to form, not banging their way back.

In all, our day was made. It started with what was a joke. Some felt it, some didn’t understand, but there’s beautiful in imperfection sometimes: Mourinho should play Zlatan and Ibrahimovic? [Hahahahahahaha]. Sometimes we just read comments and laugh. Thank you guys. Footbalgerians are the best.
